BEGIN THE DRACONIAN WARRIORS SAGA
I left a dying Earth for one last chance at survival. I never expected to crash into the arms of the alien warrior who claims I’m his mate.
Humanity is running out of time.
With Earth dying and my future disappearing beside it, I volunteer for the Alien Brides Program. Leaving everything behind is a desperate gamble, but it may be my only chance to survive.
Then raiders attack our transport ship.
I crash-land on a hostile alien world, separated from the other women and surrounded by dangers I don’t understand.
That’s when Larok finds me.
He is enormous, winged, and covered in scales. A fierce Draconian warrior who looks more dangerous than anything hunting me across this planet.
He says he rescued me.
I’m not convinced I’m anything but his captive.
Larok insists an ancient bond has chosen me as his fated mate. According to him, I belong at his side, and nothing in the galaxy will stop him from protecting me.
I refuse to let fate decide my future.
But survival forces us together.
Raiders are hunting us. A ruthless queen has plans of her own. And Larok is hiding a secret powerful enough to destroy any fragile trust growing between us.
Every battle reveals more of the warrior beneath his fearsome appearance.
Every sacrifice proves how far he’ll go to keep me safe.
Every touch makes it harder to deny the desire pulling us together.
I came to the stars searching for a new life.
Now I must decide whether the alien warrior I feared is truly my captor or the one male willing to risk his honor, his family, and his life to give me a future.
Because Larok believes our bond was written before either of us was born.
And the greatest danger may not be the enemies surrounding us.
It may be losing my heart to him.

I liked this book, but like the first show in a TV series, I wasn't into it immediately. Once I got past the first few chapters, I was completely immersed and didn't want to put it down long enough to do any chores, so dinner was late. Several of the captive women were smart and courageous- especially Hope. I recommend this book for anyone who wants some meat along with their happy endings.
If you are just starting this series I think you should start with book 4 then come back to 1-3. I read them in order and stumbling into a prequel was confusing. It did clarify somethings Hope said.We are given a look at Draconians a few years after book 4, but still in their origin galaxy. This is how Hope was able to so easily step into the role a Queen and help Larok and his family.
I got this book for 99 cents. I was surprised how well it used science fiction with romance. You get both here. For anyone wanting steamy from cover to cover this not it. Recommend for people who actually want character development. Will buy more.
Larok is used to abusive queens, but has heard rumors of another place in the universe where the queens are very different.Hope is familiar with a lot of what Larok's people have been through, and is eager to help them (and receive their help) to get back to her part of the universe. This means many of the males on the ships get a crash course in what different species of women are like, with both incredibly sweet and comedic results!Hope and Larok's interactions are always sweet; he defers to her, but she treats him as her equal and is helpful in his journey to seeing himself as her equal. And there's a baby dragonling!
Book 1 of Draconian Warriors sets the stage nicely for future books while still giving us a happily ever after. After rescuing Hope, Larok can’t believe how different she is from the Queens their people are used to. Does he dare to believe all his hopes and dreams could come true? Queen Hope seems to be just what the Draconian Warriors need to turn things around… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
