This is a great series with strong women starting with Queen Cassandra. If you have already read books 1-3 this book is a flashback. This is the real introduction of the Draconian world. For the males this is their first introduction to human females. However, since English was in their translators from the beginning, someone has had humans before that point.Cassandra had been such a pain to the slavers because of her strong will and her never give up attitude. She gets rescued from a slave auction by Mathadar because of information about his society she gets from Teladora a young Draconian teen.As Cassandra learns about this world and the evil parasites who infect the adult females, she is determined to save these abused men and their innocent daughters. She goes to war against the infected evil Draconian Queens when males learn about the parasites. She soon gets an armada of ships with “proxy” human queens and flees to Naxis space that contains earth.
We are back in the world of the Draconian Warriors. A drug-addicted cruel queen has sent her warriors off to obtain her latest fix, except while away the guys encounter Cassandra, a human being sold in the marketplace. Just before Cassandra, a young Draconian queen was sold. Now the commander, Mathadar, must follow the orders of Cassandra to free the two women. Following orders leads to danger, adventure, and romance for males not used to having a say in their world. Another great read from this author.
Light years away from Earth when hiking, Cassandra is not sure what she is going to do. She is tormented by aqua aliens. This whole new concept for Draconians as the lesser being is mind boggling. The adventure that she has with learning the rules and the laws of basically reverse dominance. The men are submissive and they have no opinions and such made a very interesting read. Humons are some kinda special. Deceit, hierarchy of Draconian male positions, a harem, going against the grain, world building in the sector was a wild trip. Love the series. The next book should hold to be promising too.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved both Mathadar and Cassandra. It's easy (for me at least) to love Draconians, and how they revere and adore females. I also have a huge weakness for the males that feel unworthy. Mathadar was no exception after experiencing pain and loss at the hands of Queens.'A male was only of value to his queen when he bred for her or risked his life to do her bidding.'It made me angry how easily he was given pain and knew his life was worthless and he could be killed for even the tiniest of "offences." On the opposite side, I liked how strongly the males bonded together and looked out for each other.I loved Cassandra bonding with Teladora. Tela was easily one of my favorite characters. Cassie was strong, quick thinking, brave, and loyal. Math was drawn to her from the start and risked his life for her without question. This story was a fast-paced adventure. I loved the characters and I was completely hooked. 5 stars.
So the last couple of books we’ve been with the human queens and the draconian after they escaped Exion space. This one we just back into Exion space to see what is going on. I loved this one. Cassandra was a very strong female who, after being a slave for years, has a great inner strength that she uses very well. She’s a natural leader and Queen to these Draconians. Mathadar is such a sweetheart. He too has an inner strength that has gotten him through dealing with the Draconian Queens. When he meets the human queen she is very different and he falls for the gentle strong woman Cassandra is.I love that we got more information on the parasites and I love how Cassandra sticks with Mathadar and never leaves Tela behind either. Fantastic series that just keeps getting better.I did receive an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.
