While I loved both Daisy and Darnok, Darnok was the one I loved the most. I've always loved the males that stand out for some reason or other- usually an undesirable physical attribute- and they are made to feel less worthy or outcast, and just need to meet the right woman to love them and show them just how worthy and valued they are. Darnok is much bigger than his fellow warriors and was singled out and abused Queens, covered in scars.I loved how Daisy and Meiko were rescued. If I wasn't hooked before, I was hooked then. The initial conversations were amusing and cute, but quickly turned serious. The story was fast-paced and I couldn't wait to see where the action would lead. 5 stars.

Daisy lost her determination after being taken while working as a interpreter in the military. She was not military trained but a civilian in their space. Until she was in outer space aka 'Verse. She met a warrior who was scarred and the biggest and thoughtful Draconian she ever met. Their adventure begins there and the need to protect and wanting Daisy to be his queen is his only want. Great story. Cheering for the goodness and what makes sense with Daisy inevitable. She is the woman with a warrior who wants to fight for her no matter what. The growth of Daisy from a beaten down captive to a strong Queen is nicely done. Darnok has to do his own development from scarred unwanted warrior, to beloved Takadon and father.One of the funniest and cutest set of scenes is around “teddy bears. First there is the creation and then Daisy’s reaction.This story covers the finding and claiming of the planet where the freed Draconians and their human queens create their new world.There are also hints at ways Daisy’s ship helps prepare Exion space males for Hope’s adventures in book 1.

Oh such a sweet giant is Darnok. It kept breaking my heart how he saw himself and how others saw him. I am so glad Daisy got to see him as more than just the big savage alien who saved her.Daisy starts out, not weak, but having lost some of her spirit due to the harsh conditions she dealt with. I’m was so happy to see her get that spirit back and to become a strong queen in her own way. And to see how Darnok finally was able to see himself as more than just war fodder was so sweet. Loved these two and adored their story!I did receive an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.

Alien Protector's Rescued Bride is the 5th book in the Draconian Warriors series and I really enjoyed Daisy and Darnok's story. This is the story of Daisy and Darnok. Daisy was kidnapped from Earth like so many others. Darnok is one of the warriors who helped rescue her.When Daisy looks at him, she doesn't see his battle scars, she sees the one who saved and protected her.When Darnok looks at her, he wishes she could be his, but knows that he is too scary looking for the likes of a Queen.The way they end up together makes a beautiful story! ❤

Such a warm hearted story. The way daisy and darnok interacted after he rescued her from vicious abductors. Even though he was scarred and unsure of himself. He found solace in daisy. There is action and mayhem.

Daisy and Darnok are such a sweet couple. I loved how they helped each other grow more confident. Really enjoyed this book.

This next book was pretty good and entertaining. This series isn't great but entertaining enough that keeps reading the next one. Has so.e cool characters and stories

Darnok is a big scarred warrior who rescues Daisy. Daisy was abducted by slime fish people. This is a great story about what love and devotion can produce in a couple. Enjoy

Again and again this author does not disappoint. Her plot is sure to find equal love in how she takes care in giving us an amazing storyline, with so many more adventures. I've chuckled and went through every emotions with the characters to count. It was quite a ride! The camaraderie with the family, the encouragement to protect and love at will for the warriors was stealer.Onward with the next book👏💥⚡

The story is interesting and action packed. Lots of alien bad guys & situations. Some really adorable courting scenes & some truly steamy sex. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

I’m enjoying this series. However, I really wish the author would do a better job editing. There are literally dozens of grammar mistakes, especially the fact she doesn’t use articles, which disrupts the flow of the reading.

Wow! Loved this story! Full of love, humor, fighting, and sex. Daisy is amazing and her Warrior dragon man is her perfect mate.

I love that this story has a different twist to it where the females are the dominant ones and the males are the care takers but at the same time the males are still manly if you will. I've read the entire series several times already and still cant get enough.I loved how daisy character saw hers turned from someone weak to herself to stronger and willing to fight for darnok and want a future with him.Poor darnok I loved how he grew and started to see him self as a worthy Male for daisy and not just a huge monster that scares females. Need more would love to read roans and kane's books and see if and when the recover the rest of his family.

What a fun series to read and enjoy! There is lots of romance and non-stop action! It keeps you interested from beginning to end!

This fifth book in the series is truly my favorite thus far. It has a very Beauty and the supposed Beast feel. Which of course is my all time favorite fairytale, and I'm not ashamed to say I also preferred the Beast over the "Prince" . All of the Draconian Warriors are large, but Darnok surpasses them all he's massive and scarred from not just the battles he's fought but from the abuse he's loved through from his ex Draconian evil Queen. What very few see because they don't look beyond his scars is the noble, loyal, gentle and loving male that he truly is. He expects he'll die a warriors death and never know passion, love or family. Until he rescues Daisy. She is a human woman who was stolen from Earth by an aquatic race that deals in slavery. They were going to sell her as a sex salve or food they don't care which. Daisy was taken, beaten out in stasis, woken , and beaten again. She's tired and she's just about given up all hope when a gorgeous scarred Draconian warrior comes to her rescue. Funny thing is they are both attracted to one another and both of them are socially awkward. Yes, there are some misunderstandings and once they start talking openly they find that obstacles that seemed impossible to get around actually mean nothing at all. It's beautiful to see the way Darnok absolutely adores her and does some of the most wonderful things for her and Daisy appreciates a real warrior. Knights in shining armour are the ones you want to stay far away from its the knights in armor that is dented, scratched and beaten beyond recognition that you want. For they are the true warriors that know what it is to protect, defend and love something so passionately that they are willing to fight for it! Daisy my type of girl. She knows this simple truth and does everything in her power to make sure Darnok knows his own worth. It's awesome and my favorite thus far💖💖💖💖💖💖

When you are larger, scarier and a total kick butt warrior others tend to avoid your company.Darnok has only one close friend and that is Roan. He believes that he will never have a mate or young.Wait till he meets human queens he is in gay surprise.Another good story in this series.

Daisy is being held captive by some aquatic type aliens. She passes the time by talking with another abductee, Meiko. They both swear to fight their way out if they get the opportunity. Darnok is on a mission when he finds the abducted women and breaks them out. They take them back to their ship and when they find out there are more women being held captive they save them all. Darnok never expects to have a mate, he's a scarred up warrior. He is interested in Daisy and secretly makes her presents. Daisy tries to find out who her secret admirer is and when she finds out it's Darnok she's happy. Just when they start getting close, Daisy is kidnapped again. Read this series, it's good.

Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence (kidnapping, fighting, death, etc.)While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend the series be read in order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers.Darnok and Daisy’s story is well-written with less grammatical errors than previous stories in the series, and picks up a little bit after the end of book 4. This provides more information about what transpired between the time Queen Cassandra escaped to the Naxis and the time additional Draconian people crossed over to join her.

I particularly enjoyed this story. A scarred warrior finding a forever love with a woman who sees his scars as badges of honor and not symbols of ugliness. She feels protected, beautiful in his eyes, and caressed by his soul. Made me cry, made me happy.

I really love this series, the Draconians are a wonderful and abused group of men who have suffered at the hands of their queens for a millennium. Now with the knowledge that their queens were infected by parasites they have escaped their old region of space and are finding a new happiness with human queens.

I loved this story because it kept my attention and I didn't want to put it down. I also liked that the Dragon story line and characters were different.I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Romance or Scienfiction.

Story ok, but hard to follow the plotline. Males are subservient to queens. Some how humans all queens and story some what confusing.

I've read a few books of this series, and so far Juno Wells has created an addicting storyline. In this book we meet Daisy, a human captive, taken by an aquatic alien race. They are awful captors, mistreat the women, and then sell them as chattel. Daisy is being prepped for sale when Draconians warriors detect the aquatic vessel with humans on board. Immediately the Draconians rescue the human females and this is when Daisy first lays eyes on Darnok. While she is initially curious, she takes her time in getting to know the Draconians, who seem ready to serve and bend to the demand of the human "queens". Darnok, a massive warrior even for Draconian standards, is self-conscious because unlike "breeders" who are gentles and handsomer than the warriors, he does not possess the fine good looks and lacks courting finesse. However little does he know that Daisy loves everything about him, including his scars, which comes with a story that broke my heart. I absolutely loved this couple. I loved how Daisy goes beyond the physical and sees Darnok for the beautiful soul he is. Darnok gives his all expecting nothing to be rewarded with everything he could ever hoped for.

A good afternoon read. I did lose interest and skim a little a couple of times. The plot had me excited to read this as I’ve read others from this author, but it fell a little flat. I like alpha males - and while the H was one among the men, he was also so self deprecating and had such low self esteem among the women (even though he was raised that way).
