About the Book

I am hooked on this series. This is the 3rd book in the series. Reading this series in order important because each book adds to the story of this world while still having a solid ending. I like that Miranda Martin doesn't write cliffhangers. I have trouble writing more specific reviews because I don't want to ruin the stories so I'll finish by saying that if you like your happy-ending romances to come with action and adventure, you will like these books.
“It’s hard to wallow in luxury when your family is starving."I've read I don't even know how many of Miranda's books, but this series has all but escaped me. A mistake I now clearly see I have to rectify. I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I loved the bond between Kearney and her sister, and how everything they did was for their suffering family on Earth. I loved Tabor. He was kind, respectful, and protective. I loved their matriarchal society where females were queens, and the warriors protected, cared for them, and submitted to them. I loved the scene where Tabor meets her family. My favorite line was:'Tabor’s head whips around and he asks a question that might be hysterically funny under different circumstances. “If the queens do not rule, how do the warriors get anything done?”'5 stars.
Kearney and her sister Kendra are not like the other Queens who are demanding and lackadaisical in everyday activities. These to do the opposite, eat rations and work in to save money for their family. Two brothers and two sisters are they fated? Good vs evil, battles vs intimacy. Decent read.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Kearny may have signed on as a bride for the Draconian warriors, but a life of luxury is the last thing she has on her mind. She and her sister Kendra have higher priorities. Selecting a male to mate is way down on the list, but if she were to choose, Captain Tabor would lead the list. While the captain may seem indifferent, he is far from it. He has chosen Kearny as his queen and will do whatever it takes to make her hidden mission successful—a great addition to the series.
I thoroughly enjoy when a series has a big arc that keeps growing with each book, but that gives me HEAs and complete stories along the way. This is what’s happening in this series. So for the couple, I loved Kearney and Tabor. It did take me a minute to warm up to Kearney, just felt like she was basing a lot of her ideas on assumptions. But I warmed up to her as she started learning more and actually doing more. She was awesome. And Tabor was so sweet. Such a definition of cinnamon roll hero “, he just wanted to make her happy and provide for her. So sweet. And their steamy scenes were just precious. The danger was real and not over done which was nice. A great addition to the series and can’t wait for it to continue.I did receive an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.
Alien Commander's Reluctant Bride Book 3 in the Draconian Warriors series by Miranda Martin is just a wonderful story about two sisters who join the registry to be Draconian brides in order o save their family. Standalone and recommended.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is Tabor and Kearney's story and I highly recommend it. They are perfect for each other even if it took awhile for them to act on it. Kearney and her sister signed on to be Draconian brides but I admire them for their devotion to the family still left on Earth. There is plenty of action along the way as they put their plan into motion. But there is suspense and danger as well that will have you reading till the end to see what happens. I can't wait for the next in the series!.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
While none of the human ladies fully embody what the Draconians have come to see as a "typical Queen," these sisters are, in many ways, the furthest from that idea than most. To the Draconians, it seems as though they are going out of their way to avoid comfort and luxury, preferring to sleep on the ground, eat basic rations, and work at all hours. When they take a crew to rescue the family they have left on earth, they encounter both obstacles and advantages, with some expected enemies turning out to be friends, and some friends turning out to be enemies... but enemies who might not be as bad as meets the eye.The story grows the new community of human-Draconians, and also sets up the new challenges they'll have to face.
The next book in the series is Kearney and Taber’s story. Even though this is the third book in the series it is a stand- alone book and not necessary to read the previous two. Kearney and Tabor have been dancing around their attraction for two years. He doesn’t think that he deserves a Queen, or mate. She is totally focused on mining enough jewels to purchase a ship to refurbish so she can return to earth and rescue her family. When she finally achieves her goal, she choses Taber to be the commander of her ship. She also vows that when her family is safe, she will let Taber know that she is totally attracted to him. The trip to earth went pretty smoothly, but the journey home is fraught with danger and tough decisions. Excellent book and I can’t wait for the next one to come out!
Draconian Commander Tabor and his brother warrior Phan work to ensure Queen Kearney and her sister Kendra are safe and well looked after; in all ways… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.
A simply riveting story of two sisters that set out to save their whole family on earthThis is a simply wonderful read that is based around two sisters that are self-taught in the spaceship knowledge that have set out across space. Then they plan to dig out precious stones and then to us the finances that they have been able to raise to keep their family fed and safe on earth in a cave,Then they plan to build space ships and raise a Draconian crew that will help the, to fly their space ships and rescue their mother who has recently given birth and have been hiding in a cave on their mountain with the rest of their surviving family. Two years they have been digging and collecting gems and buying food and water and medicines to return to earth with so that they can rescue their family and then set out with everything they believe is set in tow but as you know even the best laid plans of men and alien can be put through the wringer and this is what happens.Queen Kearney and her sister who have both found Draconian warriors that they have fallen in love with find themselves having to come up with an alternate plan with the help of the Strovian Vessel that is able fold time but charges a pretty penny for the time saving option.I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.
I enjoyed this book!
Whilst I genuinely enjoyed these stories this particular one is chocked full of errors. It has missing words; it has the wrong words and that takes away from the pleasure of reading a otherwise good story.
I love how the story evolves with each new book in the series. The authors are doing an amazing job!! The descriptions are point on and give the readers a chance to get a mental image of the characters they are reading about. ❤❤
A real great series with compelling stories would love more, however you can tell that there were two authors. there was a lot of errors in names, places and even gender. My only complaint is that you guy didn’t keep up with your story outline from book to book. Cassandra was your first queen yet in the last couple books you started calling her Caroline with two different spelling it makes things confusing when you continue to have name issues for reoccurring characters.
This 3rd book was ok. I wasn't into the twins characters as I was others in previous two books. Not sure if I'll continue the series at this time. The battle scenes were interesting as were the Draconian characters. Recommended as casual light entertainment reading.
The sister queens are on a personal quest. The two brothers are trying to please their queens. Earth figures in there as well. Enjoy
It was quite frankly a fun experience with this new series. I've chuckled a few times with the queen's antics. The plot was a thing of beauty, and the storyline was steeler 😘👏⭐😋
This is the story of Tabor and Kearney. The storyline is not bad. There is the inevitable action/war scenes. At this point I will not read more of the series. The errors in the ebooks are just too numerous and I find it effects my enjoyment of the story. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers.
The sister queens have been helped by the warrior Tabor, who has a crush on Kearney that he won't push, he just makes sure both women are watched over and cared for. They get Queen Hope to drop them all off on the salvage planet, where they find a ship and get it working and head for Earth, to trade for seeds and to rescue the rest of the sister Queens family members, some twenty two or more people. They have a problem with the down mountain neighbor who shoots at them and knocks down one shuttle. The family is rescued, the neighbors are offered a deal that they later accept after being burned out. An alien tries to get women and the sisters won't help, he later tries to grab one of the Greyson daughters when they pick them up. The alien put a symbiont in the daughter, which causes problems, and his ship attacks their ship on the way home. The Strovians want the women they've picked up, the queens refuse and get attacked by the Strovians and the Moltan that they've had problems with before, who also want female sex slaves. The queens ship wins when another queens ship arrives to help out, and everyone heads home with the Strovian ship as a war prize, and finding out that some religious group is handing out soul snatcher samples to those who want them.
This book was enjoyable but I found that it just dragged a little bit. I had a hard time getting interested in it completely enough to really enjoy it. A problem that kind of stood out was there were quite a few grammatical and spelling errors. There were enough errors that I'm surprised they weren't noticed during publishing. Despite that like I said, the book is enjoyable.
Great series
I really enjoyed this book. Sex and submissive dragon men. They're so sweet! Plus Lots of scary fighting and unbelievable monsters.
This series has been very interesting and fun to read. Vivid characters with non-stop action to keep you coming back for more!
WoW I'm so enjoying this series of alien love .Deacon warriors are so freaking hot lol . Ok so the sister when's are kick ass . Kearney and Tabor are just too cute together! Seeing each circle around and around each other makes me smile. I'm in love with the Deacon warriors 😉😃. Juno Wells is such an awesome amazing author ! I'm always blown away by her books.
Are you willing to work hard and build to protect your family? This what the sister queens are about. The book definitely worth reading.
Kearney and Kendra are sisters. They jointly rule a Draconian ship. Kearney is attracted to Tabor, captain of the ship. The sisters make good trades for goods, want to save their family on Earth, find a home and fight the symbiote queens. There is adventure, humor, romance a steamy scenes I recommend this book and series.
This book was so freaking awesome. I loved the sister queens because they were so different from the other women.
