Draconian Warriors Buch 2 – Die beanspruchte Braut des Alien-Captains

I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I haven't read much of this series- though I've read many other of Miranda Martin's books, but I'm really loving these Draconian males. I love the balance of dominant and submissive in them- as a part of their culture. They are sweet and protective and treat females like queens- only their own queens have taken advantage of, scarred, and abused them. This book was an adventure. I loved both Meric and Stacy. He's reluctant to trust another queen- no matter how drawn to Stacy he is. 5 stars.

Stacy has almost given up on finding love. After escaping an arranged marriage back on earth, she signed up to become an interstellar bride, only to be kidnapped by aliens. After being saved by Draconians, she volunteers to join the crew of a battleship as their doctor. The captain has caught her eye, but he is standoffish & then outright tells he her he has no plans to fall under the power of a queen& breed again.Meric had been a breeder for a Draconian queen & has the physical & emotional scars to prove it. He has survived & risen to the rank of captain through much effort. He has 4 scions who survived their queen & he will protect them, even from the new queen on his ship. However, when they come to the rescue of an allie, they then have to chase after & find an enemy ship, which may hold an ancient enemy of the Dracons. But they have to find it first.They have several stumbling blocks to get over, some caused by themselves, but once Meric starts to get rid of his fears about human queens, there is no stopping him.This is a good book that I enjoyed reading. To understand the backstory, I recommend reading the previous book in the series.

These two kept tugging at my heartstrings, especially the first half. Meric has had such a hard past with the Draconian queens that he has a really hard time trusting that the human women aren’t like that. But I loved how the males around him were always trying to get him to open his eyes and actually see how they were, especially Stacy. It may have taken some time to get there but when he finally accepts the truth, his courting is very precious.Stacy is wonderful. And I totally get where her insecurities came from. After being rebuffed by Meric and finding it really hard to know if the males are actually interested or just being polite, she just focuses on her job. She’s blunt and not always diplomatic but she cares. I love seeing how she grew confident as she was put in charge of more things.These two were fantastic together. It very much is a slow burn for them and their spicy scenes are few but they are great and a wonderful addition to this series. Can’t wait to continue and see where this adventure takes me.I did receive an ARC from Booksprout and this is my honest opinion.

Excellent story. Meric and Stacy have to work to understand each other -- to be expected with alien cultures. And especially when Meric had been so abused by his Draconian queen. I loved the story of him being gently won over with a lot of help from his friends.

A wonderful story. The Draconian males rever their queens but their Queens treat them horriably. Meric is very learly of the human queen as they don't know how viscious they could be. Will Meric let down his guard and pick Stacy as his new queen? Ennjoyable story.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed this book!

The Draconian Warriors will never be truly free as long as there are Draconian Queens being controlled by Symbionts. There will be the fear that Queens will come looking for them.The Warriors face another challenge to happy ever after though. They were so mistreated by their own queens that they don't dare trust the human women they have rescued. Will they ever be able to let their guard down enough to see with their hearts??

Very good read. Meric turned out to be a great companion after being abused. Can' t wait to start next book.

This was a relaxing and enjoyable story. The series continues with interesting characters and events. Entertaining reading. Look forward the next book

Stacy is looking for a mate but it's hard when queens are so revered. Meric is Leary of queens because of the abuse of his last queen. They are on a mission.... Enjoy

This is a story about a woman who has a crush on the Captain but there are vast cultural differences that keeps him from accepting her. The has to learn and grow to truly be a worthy mate. Will they overcome his baggage. Good read.

This is shook worth any readers notice. A gem full of adventure, heart beating plots and sexy bits warming one's heart😘💞🔥

Not a bad storyline. But, the book is almost unreadable due to the errors. This story features Stacy and Meric. We met Stacy in the first book. She’s a pediatrician who signed up to be a bride but their spaceship was boarded and the women were taken prisoner. After being rescued by the Draconians she meets Meric who is the captain of the spaceship she is on as the chief medical officer. She falls for him quickly but, he isn’t interested having had to perform as a breeder for an evil “queen” who mistreated him. The story comes to a good end. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers.

She is the doctor for the ship, and the Queen for her warriors, even though she is a human female. They are searching for a ship with a suspected soul stealer, the symbiont that makes Draconian Queens so mean and vicious, on board it, and it only needs a female host to spread the soul stealers throughout the Naxous

Juno Wells new Draconian Warriors series is different, exciting, and way to hard to put down!Love that the story emphasizes how adaptability to change is a key requirement for survival.Enjoy!

Great storyline with interesting characters. The scenes with the characters interactions with the huan queens was quite good. There were many parts to their courting that interested me. Wonderful story. Recommend highly.😉

Wow! I am really enjoying these stories. Not going to give away the spoiler but these dragon men have a little different body part than I've read of before. Very exciting!

Glad she finally found someone. I thought it was hilarious when she thought Meric was infectedwhen he was just trying to woo her. And how he sprayed the blanket with his mating scent. Lol

I enjoyed this follow up story a lot! Can't wait to read the next one. They are interesting with lots of non-stop action.

Let's just say baby daddy takes to do did this book and I'll love it Meric is Stacey are not your ideal couple but they make it work. Having a mate like MericI think women of today would enjoy him thoroughly. IIs this book you learn about the mother of all creatures and it's not what they think.This book had enough of a story line to keep the reader interested and the characters refreshing.

I enjoy the unique dynamic of the manly but scarred and submissive-but-can-be-dominant men with decent women that give them a taste of something far better than they had, even if I think the women are much too over-idealized. I found his reluctance to trust interesting, but also frustrating because the answer was pretty plain. And she came off a little harsh at times, but I know that is pretty par for the course with those in high stress medical fields. Overall, they both had fairly well developed personalities which I like. And they had some unique challenges to overcome to get together. So while not a perfect book, I enjoyed it and will eventually read another.

Three stars for the characters and detailed story. But, this author really needs a proofreader. The mistakes make it hard to enjoy the plot and characters when the reader has to continuously re-read sentences because of bad grammar, extra words and typos. Unfortunately, this will be the last book of this series I will be reading.

Better than I expected, it was a good read from the beginning to the end of the book. Highly recommended

Stacy is a human doctor, and Meric is the captain. They have misunderstandings about their relationship. I like the characters. I like the humor. There are steamy and action scenes.

Much better then fist book. Women from Earth leaving Earth because most of the men died. A doctor working on a ship falls in love with the captain who has issues to get over in order to love her. I could not put down the. Book it really caught my attention.

This was such an awesome book. It's a quick, easy read. So far I am loving this series and can't wait to read more n

Wow! I missed reviewing this one the first time too. I loved it of course. I've got a feeling this isn't the last time I re-read this. They have a calming effect.
